Golden Year Services GYS provides quality Day Programs and Respite care for seniors and adults of all ages in a family setting with pets that love attention good food and you are our special guest. Located close to Kentville/Coldbrook and not far from New Minas and Wolfville Golden Years Services is situated on over an acre of land in a quiet park setting which is easy to find from Highway 1 and 101.

Both programs enrich and enhance the lives of our guests and give peace of mind to their families and caregivers.

The GYS Day Programs are from 8:30 am 5:00 pm or special arranged times Monday to Thursday. Our guests interests are part of our planning unless there is a special theme day i.e. Spa Day- pampering of body and soul Holiday Celebrations Halloween Christmas Birthdays… The GYS Day Program is designed for no more than six guests so each guest is comfortable and happy. GYS Respite Care is available by reservation. Your own private room on the main floor giving you full access to the kitchen shared bathroom dining room living room family room and the front porches. If you have special needs for a walker or aids in the bathroom these are all available to you here at the house. The house is set up to take two guests in the GYS Respite Program at a time. When the GYS Day Program is on our Respite guests are included too.
