Lake George is a Provincial Picnic Park and Beach located south of Aylesford. It is a haven for swimmers and watersport enthusiasts in the summer months as it boasts some of the warmest water temperatures around.
The swimming and boating areas are divided for safety purposes and there are change areas and washroom facilities available onsite. The beach is mainly grassy with a sand strip along waters edge.
Lake George can be found by taking the Aylesford Road off of Route 1 the Evangeline Trail just east of Aylesford. Drive south on Aylesford Rd about 10 minutes past the community of Morristown until you reach N. River Road. Take a left on North River Road and drive a kilometer or so until you see the beach on the left hand side.
