Nestled in Greenwood Nova Scotia we like to think of ourselves as the Annapolis Valley s best kept secret. Owner operator Mike has been tattooing for over 20 yrs and studied under Tattoo Joe Sauve of Tattoo Joe s Emporium based in Windsor Ontario. Mike moved to Nova Scotia in 1995 where he worked a Tattoo shop in Kentville and became very active in cross contamination prevention and sterilization procedures. Soon after he opened his own shop on Central Ave in Greenwood NS. Standing Stones has occupied the same residence for over 8 years in Greenwood and prides itself on being a active member of the community. Donating over 2000.00 a year to local charity auctions and benefits. Mike has crafted and refined his art during the last decade and as become an award winning artist during the 2010 Maritime Tattoo Festival where he took second place in the Black/Grey Tribal division for a custom Haida half sleeve/shoulder/back piece. The shop prides itself on being very clean taking time with each piece wether a tattoo that takes 5 minutes or 5 hours or be it a piercing. We never settle for second rate and feel that everyone should be able to sport cool ink for a fair price.
